A Statement from Goldcrest Post

2020 has been a year filled with challenges and some change, and yet there is still a long way to go. One of the great challenges the year has made clear is that it is long overdue to stand up to the systemic racism and injustices that plague our industries, communities, and countries around the world. Goldcrest Post NY denounces racism, and all forms of discrimination. We recognize that while we have always been committed to providing an inclusive environment for both employees and clients, we can do better and it is past time to do more.

As a beginning step in the direction of change, Goldcrest is creating an initiative to support Black, and all minority filmmakers. We will use our resources to support and uplift members of our community that have been overlooked for too long. We will be reaching out to local higher learning institutions to establish a program that supports minority filmmaking and expression by offering our expertise in post-production to emerging voices in the creative arts. Keep an eye out for more announcements in the coming months.

We value equality and as we build our initiative, we are committed to listening and to learning more about how we can enact positive change in our industry and within our company.
